Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
AFS Wholesale is committed to making business purchasing on afswholesaleshop.com usable by as many people as possible, including buyers who rely on screen readers, screen magnification, keyboard-only navigation, voice control, or other assistive technology. Accessibility is an ongoing part of how we build and maintain the store, not a one-time project, and we treat feedback from customers as an important source of improvement.
The standard we work toward
We aim to align the store with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We treat this as a target that guides our design and development decisions, not as a certified level of conformance. We have not completed a formal third-party audit, and we do not claim full conformance or certification. As we continue to test and refine the store, some pages or components may not yet meet every applicable success criterion.
Measures we have taken
To move toward our accessibility goal, we design and build the store with the following practices in mind:
- Semantic structure — using headings, lists, landmarks, and properly labeled form fields so assistive technology can interpret the page.
- Keyboard navigation — supporting interaction with a keyboard alone, so menus, filters, the cart, and checkout can be operated without a mouse.
- Visible focus — providing a clear focus indicator so keyboard users can see where they are on the page.
- Text alternatives — providing alternative text for meaningful images and icons.
- Non-color status cues — pairing color with text or icons so information such as stock status, errors, and confirmations does not rely on color alone.
- Reduced-motion support — respecting the operating-system “reduce motion” preference to limit non-essential animation.
- Responsive reflow — allowing content to reflow and remain readable across screen sizes and zoom levels without loss of function.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the store may not yet be fully accessible. In particular, third-party content and supplier-provided materials—such as manufacturer documents, spec sheets, product datasheets, images, and embedded tools—may not fully conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA because they are created outside our systems. Where we identify a barrier in this kind of content, we work to remediate it or to provide the information in an accessible alternative on request. We also recognize that new features and updates can introduce issues, and we monitor for them as part of ongoing review.
How to request assistance or report a barrier
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the store, or if you need information or a document in an alternative format, please tell us. Contact sales@afswholesaleshop.com and, where you can, include the page address, a description of the problem, and the assistive technology or browser you were using so we can reproduce and address it. A dedicated phone line for accessibility requests will be listed here once it is available. You can also reach us by mail at AFS Wholesale LLC, 1957 Rutgers Blvd, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
Our response process
When you contact us about accessibility, we acknowledge your message, review the issue you have described, and, where needed, offer an accessible alternative so you can complete your task in the meantime—such as providing product details, quotes, or documents in another format or completing an order with our help. We prioritize barriers that prevent buyers from completing key tasks like browsing, requesting a quote, applying for an account, or checking out, and we follow up as we work toward a fix.
Ongoing review
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review the store as we add features, update content, and receive feedback, and we adjust our practices as standards and tools evolve. As our work progresses, we will update this statement to reflect current measures, known limitations, and any formal evaluation we complete, along with a new effective date.
